Strawberry crumble
4 servings
Crumble
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 ts vanilla powder
1/2 stick (55 g) butter, cold
Filling
2 cups strawberries, diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tbsp potato starch
zest of 1/2 lemon
- Preheat oven to 430F (225C). Put 4 small ramekins on a bakingsheet.
- Make the crumble. Combine flour, vanilla powder and sugar in a baking bowl. Dice the butter into small pieces.
- Add the butter, then rub in with your fingers until the mix looks like fine crumbs.
- Dice strawberries and mix with lemon zest, sugar and potato starch.
- Fill the ramekins with strawberry mixture and top with the crumble.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until crumble is golden and strawbberies are bubbly.
- Serve with ice cream on the side.
