Spago, Wolfgang Pucks famous restaurant just off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
We had lunch with some friends. Overpriced of course, as expected, but a fun experience with celebrities and all. We had Grilled Shrimp Salad, Green Papaya, Thai Herbs, Peanuts. It was missing the peanuts and quite dry to be honest. Grilled USDA Prime Beef Burger, Aged Cheddar, Smoked Bacon , a really juicy and yummy burger with fries and 3 different sauces. Pizza with House Cured Smoked Salmon, Dill Crème Fraiche. Really tasty. A little strange to have smoked salmon on a pizza but it worked. For dessert, a caramel mousse on brownie with hazelnuts and stewed persimon. And a warm apple cake with crumble, stewed apple and walnut ice cream. The apple cake was the best of the two.
