I loved the five spice chicken I made the other day, inspired by Jamie Oliver. This time I tried
something similar but with indian spices. Garam masala, smoked paprika and chili gave the chicken a nice deep flavour.

Sticky chicken indian style
4 servings
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or 4 breasts
2 tablespoons garam masala
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
a pinch of dried chili flakes
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup runny honey
juice of 1 lemon
Cut the chicken breast (if using) in half and put on a large sheet of parcement paper.
Fold over the rest of the paper, then bash and flatten the chicken with a rolling pin.
Toss the chicken with garam masala, salt, chiliflakes and smoked paprika. Make sure the spices cover all the chicken pieces. Heat up a frying pan on medium- high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil then fry the chicken until until golden brown and cooked through.
Add the honey and lemon juice and allow to caramelise for a minute.
Serve with nan bread, yogurt, mango salsa and rice or a salad.
