You can make your own pesto of course. I was to lazy.

Pasta salad with red pesto and chicken
3 servings
8.8 oz wholegrain fusilli pasta
1/4 cup red pesto ( storebought is ok)
1 medium red onion, thinely sliced
7 oz bag of baby spinach or ruccola
1/4 cup toasted pinenuts
salt and pepper
5 oz feta cheese, crumbled
3 chicken breast filets
Cook the pasta according to packet instruction. Drain and rinse under cold water. Pour into a large bowl. Add pesto and sliced red onion. Mix well and season with salt. Season the chicken with lemon salt and pepper and fry until cooked through. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before you slice into strips. Add spinach or arugula, pine nuts and feta cheese to the pasta and top with chicken. Serve with bread.
