Walnut & cranberry cookies
20 cookies
3.5 oz butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup quick oat
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup walnuts
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Decoration
3.5 oz dark chocolate
1/4 cup walnuts and cranberries, choppes
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add maple syrup and water. Let cool for a bit.
Whisk together the dry ingrediens in a baking bowl. Pour in the water/butter mixture.
Stir into a sticky thick dough/batter. Spoon 20 cookies onto the baking sheets, leaving a little room
in between. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
For decoration, melt chocolate over water bath. Chop cranberries and walnuts.
Dip cookie halfway in the melted chocolate. sprinkle over walnuts and cranberries.
Let cool on baking sheet or on a wire rack.
