My newly purchased cookbook from Tomasina Miers, Mexican food at home.
Exciting mexican street food, with recipes from her restaurants Wahaca in London.
Tomasina won Mastechef UK in 2005 specially for her eccentric mexican food.
In 2007 she open her first Wahaca, now there are 4 branches. I have eaten in her restaurants several times. The food is spicy, exciting and cheap. The black bean stew is to die for.
The cookbook has a lot of the restaurants dishes, fairly easy to make. You need some of the different chili types, habanero, chipotle, jalapeno and poblano. There is a section describing each one.
I look forward to try some ogf the recipes.
